The James Young Heritage Reel was designed for anglers who enjoy trotting for roach, chub and silverfish on flowing water or those float fishing for carp on lakes and still-water. Features include two ball bearings, a click check, a micro adjustable disc drag and a unique multi-position line cage. The reel has been finished in an eye catching green colour that oozes class and quality and will match well with any colour rod blank. All J W young reels are made and built in the UK and come supplied in a presentation box with a reel pouch and certificate of authenticity.

The James Young Heritage Reel, formally known as the John Wilson Heritage, has been personally endorsed by one of the UK’s greatest anglers of all time, John Wilson. It has now been renamed to honour the founding JW Young and Son family. Precision built with high quality function, the reel really does incorporate the highest standards of engineering as pioneered by James Young back in 1884.

The James Young Heritage is similar in design to the Purist II but finished in deep green anodise and laser printed script on the back plate.
