• Periphery of line drum free to hand control when casting.
• Patent 'Dimple' handles; indented to give a perfect grip and to prevent the fingers contacting the face of the line drum.
• Strong Bickerdyke pattern line guard, chrome plated.
• Patent Lever-operated check fitted in a convenient working position.
• Patent self-securing adjustable central tension. Although composed of several components this can be removed and replaced as a unit - an invaluable feature when cleaning and oiling the reel and one which obviates the loss of small parts.

LUBRICATING, CLEANING & CARE OF YOUR WINDEX

• To dismantle, unwind the tension unit until it slides off the spindle, and lift Line Drum from the frame.
• Oil the Spindle, Check Wheel and movable parts of the check mechanism, using good quality thin oil.
• A little oil at the top and base of the handles adds to the sweet working of the reel.​
• After use remove all traces of moisture and keep your reel in a dry place.
